UVSP starts application process for board examination 2025

The Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) has recently started the application process for the high school and intermediate board examinations slated for the year 2025. Informing this, the additional secretary of UVSP, Vinod Simlati said that the registration process for these examinations has begun and would continue until July 31. “There are two categories of students associated with UVSP: regular board visitors and those who solely take the examinations without attending classes regularly. Consequently, students, enrolled in educational institutions affiliated with UVSP board, have until July 31 to complete the application process in their schools while the private students, not enrolled in schools, have until August 14 to submit their applications,” he added.
He further stated that UVSP has set the examination fees at Rs 200 for high school students enrolled in the institution while private students are required to pay Rs 600 for the registration process. Similarly, for the intermediate examination, students studying in school must pay Rs 350 whereas privately studying students must pay Rs 700. Additionally, an extra charge of Rs 10 is applicable for each student for both the migration certificate and mark-sheet. He further emphasised that students who do not submit the application forms with the fees by the allotted date will incur an additional charge of Rs 150 by the UVSP.
It will be recalled that a total of 6,90,564 high school students and 4,47,596 intermediate students took the examination this year under UVSP. Additionally, in 2024, in Class X, 89.14 per cent of students passed the exam with a passing rate of 85.59 per cent for boys and 92.54 per cent for girls. Similarly, in Class XII, 82.63 per cent of the students passed the exam with a passing percentage of 85.96 per cent for girls and 78.97 per cent for boys.
