The Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) will declare the results for the classes X and XII board examinations for 2025 on April 19.
Informing about this, secretary of the UVSP Vinod Simalti informed that the inaugural meeting of the result committee took place at Ramnagar in Nainital on Saturday. The committee members decided to disclose the results for the high school and intermediate examination for the year 2025, as well as the Result Improvement Examination (Second) for the year 2024, on April 19, 2025, at 11:00 am. Once the results are announced, candidates will be able to access them on the Uttarakhand official website at www.ubse.uk.gov.in, he stated.
It will be recalled that this year, the board examinations under the UVSP began on February 21 and wrapped up on March 11. The evaluation of answer sheets commenced on March 21 and was completed by April 4. Simalti previously informed that an early announcement of results is anticipated this year due to modifications in the evaluation process. In the past, results relied on an OMR system, where teachers at examination centres marked scores on OMR sheets, which were then sent to UVSP headquarters for processing—a time-consuming method.
He said that this year, the UVSP has introduced an online system across all 29 evaluation centers. This new system enables teachers to enter marks directly, allowing for immediate transmission to the UVSP headquarters. Officials there will verify these marks before the results are released.
Notably, in Class X, a total of 113,688 students participated in the board examination, consisting of 111,420 candidates from institutions and 2,268 individual candidates. For Class XII, the number of candidates who took the board examination reached 1,096,699, which included 1,052,298 institutional candidates and 4,401 individual candidates.
