The Uttarakhand Vidyalayi Shiksha Parishad (UVSP) will start the written board examinations for classes X and XII in 2025 on February 21. The exams will conclude on March 11. This information was shared by the secretary of the UVSP Vinod Simalti.
Informing further about this, Simlati said that a meeting was chaired by the UVSP director on Saturday. During this meeting, it was decided that the written board examinations for 2025 will be held from February 21 to March 11. Additionally, practical examinations under the UVSP will take place from January 16 to February 15.
He further said that 1,245 examination centres have been selected across the State for the board examinations. Regarding the number of students enrolled for the board examinations, Simlati stated that a total of 2,23,387 students from classes X and XII will be taking the board examinations in 2025. Of these, 1,13,688 students will be sitting for the class X examination. Additionally, 1,09,699 students will be sitting for the class XII examination, he added.
