The route to the Valley of Flowers was blocked following heavy rains due to which no tourist was allowed to visit the valley on Saturday.
The path was damaged at Dwaripera Top and Glacier Point due to heavy rain about four kilometres from the Ghangharia gate of the valley.
The range officer Chetna Kandpal informed that the bridle path had been damaged due to landslide following heavy rains. Work on reopening the route will be started once the weather clears, she informed.
