Orthopaedic surgeon and Padma Shri recipient Dr BKS Sanjay was felicitated by Prajapati Brahma Kumari Ishwariya University, Mount Abu, Narayan Seva Sansthan, Udaipur and Shri Vaishanav Vidhyapeeth Vishwavidhyalaya, Indore.
The Mind Body Medicine conference was organised recently at Mount Abu where Dr Sanjay was honoured by Dr Banarasi Lal Shah, the secretary of the medical wing of the Brahma Kumaris. Speaking on the occasion, he said that change of thoughts is an easy and cheap way to bring change in any individual and society. Raj Yoga can not only bring mental and spiritual changes but physical wellbeing as well, he said.
Dr Sanjay also took part in the induction ceremony of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth university where he said that behaviour, knowledge and skills are important to get success in life. He said that health, education, nutrition are the basic pillars of social, economic and mental development. Addressing the audience in Narayan Seva Sansthan, he said that an educated and healthy person cannot only complete his work but can also help others.
