The vice- chancellor of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Manmohan Singh Chauhan visited several stalls and agro-industry exhibition set up in the 117th Kisan Mela being held in the university on its second day. He appreciated the innovations seen in the models made on sustainable agricultural development through cooperative farming by the students of the colleges working under the university. Meanwhile, seeds of various Kharif crops worth several lakhs have been sold from the stalls so far and the university officials said that the volume of seed sale might reach a record this time.
