To promote German technology and to deepen business relation with the local manufacturing industry in the tire – II cities, the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) together with German companies organised the first edition of VDMA Symposium on European technology for the industrial development of Rudrapur on Friday. Among the dignitaries present were the deputy head of Mission German Embassy, New Delhi Georg Enzweiler and the president, SIDCUL entrepreneur welfare society (SEWS) Shreekar Sinha. While Enzweiler dwelt on the evolving dynamics of international trade relations between India and Germany and the future of technology and innovation in global markets Sinha in his address shared his insights on the importance of strategic adaptability in the face of evolving economic conditions.
The general manager, VDMA India Sandip Roy informed that 10 prominent German/ European companies participated in this knowledge- sharing platform, adding that the symposium was focused on business opportunities for the local industry focusing on automobile & auto components, food & beverage and packaging among others.
