Venkateshwara University’s pro-chancellor apprises UP Guv of its achievements in multiple fields

The pro-chancellor of Shri Venkateshwara University Rajeev Tyagi called on the Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel at Raj Bhawan in Lucknow on Tuesday and, as instructed by the chairman of the Venkateshwara group of institutions Sudhir Giri, he presented her a report detailing the works done by the university in higher education, public health and women empowerment for the past 15 years.
The Governor lauded the educational, environmental, health and women empowerment-centric initiatives being taken by the university in the relatively backward and predominantly rural western Uttar Pradesh region. She expressed the hope that the university would continue to make important contributions towards making India a developed nation by working tirelessly in the fields of education, health, environment and women empowerment. Also, she mentioned the university’s 100 per cent implementation of the employment-oriented National Education Policy, adding that it has been preparing an army of skilled youth for the future.
