The general secretary (organisation) of All India Congress Committee (AICC) KC Venugopal will arrive in Dehradun on Thursday for a two day visit. His visit is being considered important for the State Congress. In his two day long stay, Venugopal will hold interaction with all the senior leaders of the State Congress and also meet the heads of all the frontal organisations of the party. He will also hold important discussions with the district presidents of the party.
State Congress Committee’s Media chairman Rajiv Maharshi said that Venugopal will hold a brainstorming session with the leaders of the newly constituted Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the party.
Venugopal is expected to give a pep talk to all the senior leaders and ask them to show a united face. The State unit of the party will chalk out its strategy for the crucial Vidhan Sabha elections to be held in early 2027 during the meetings with Venugopal.
