Various parts of the State have continued to suffer the effects of heavy rain, landslides and other related factors.
The weather is expected to remain similar on Monday with the State Meteorological Centre issuing an orange warning (be prepared to take action) regarding the possibility of heavy to very heavy rain/thunderstorms accompanied by lightning/very intense to extremely intense spells of rain likely to occur at isolated places in Dehradun, Tehri, Nainital, Uttarkashi and Bageshwar districts today.
A yellow warning (be aware) has also been issued regarding the possibility of heavy rain/thunderstorms accompanied with lightning/intense to very intense spells of rain likely to occur at isolated places in the remaining districts of the State. Apart from this, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in all districts of the State on Monday.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to wintess a generally cloudy sky. Few spells of light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur, of which one or two spells may be intense/heavy in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperature are likely to be about 32 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
