In a novel initiative the election commission has decided to provide postal ballot facility to the senior citizens who are above 80 years of age and the people with disabilities.
The CEO of Uttarakhand, Sowjanya said that such people can apply for the provision of voting at home and after due consideration it would be provided to them. Under this facility the officials would visit the homes of such people to get their postal ballots.
