In latest news from Dehradun, the Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankar attended the bicentenary celebration of the Arya Samaj founder Swami Dayanand Sarwaswati as the chief guest at Gurukul Kangri Deemed University in Haridwar. Earlier, he arrived at Jolly Grant Airport in a special aircraft and drove straight to the university. Among the dignitaries present on the occasion included the Governor Lt Gen (retd) Gurmit Singh, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the yoga guru Ramdev aside from the chancellor and the registrar of the university.
