In latest news from Dehradun, Raipur police cracked a purse snatching case within 12 hours and nabbed three accused with the stolen purse. Sharing details of the case, police said that three unidentified men robbed one Suhail, resident of Azad Nagar Colony in Raipur, of his wallet by brandishing knife. Upon being informed of the incident, a police team led by the Raipur police station in-charge met the victim. Police further learnt from him that the purse contained Rs 4800 aside from Aadhar cards. Meanwhile, taking a serious note of the incident, Dehradun SSP Ajai Singh ordered the Raipur police station in-charge to crack the case within 24 hours. Raipur police while scrutinising the CC TV footages sighted a white-coloured scooty that was used in the incident. The ownership details of the scooty helped police identify one of the accused. The accused identified as Ashu was arrested from Rishi Nagar in Dehradun. While being interrogated, Ashu gave away the names of his two accomplices- Rohit and Saurabh. They were later arrested too.
