The State’s Irrigation, Tourism and Religious Affairs minister Satpal Maharaj told the Jal Shakti minister, Uttar Pradesh Swatantra Dev Singh that adequate supply of clean water is being ensured for Prayagraj Maha Kumbh bathing ceremony from the Tehri reservoir.
He further told him that by raising the water level from 828 to 830 m, they have arranged an additional 83 million cubic meters of water.
Maharaj said that the initiative of supplying water to facilitate a smooth bathing ceremony for Prayagraj Maha Kumbh from Tehri reservoir has be taken on the instruction of the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
