The water level of Nainital Lake is currently stable at 6 feet 3 inches which is around the normal level. Stating this, a senior engineer of the district Irrigation department D D Sati said that the water level of the lake is being monitored regularly and all necessary steps are being taken to maintain it. Notably, in February last year too, the water level of the lake stood at 6 feet 3 inches. The local administration hopes that there will not be much change in the water level in the coming days.
