The weather in Uttarakhand has continued to fluctuate with the maximum temperatures being above normal while the minimum were a few notches below normal in Dehradun and some other places on Thursday.
Most parts of the State are witnessing warm days and cool nights. The State Meteorological Centre has forecast that very light to light rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Pithoragarh districts while dry weather is likely to prevail in the rest of the districts on Friday.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear to partly cloudy sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 30 degrees Celsius and 14 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Thursday were 30.6 degrees Celsius and 13.2 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 32.2 degrees Celsius and 10.4 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 19.6 degrees Celsius and 8.2 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 20.6 degrees Celsius and 7.1 degrees Celsius in Tehri.
The maximum temperature was three degrees Celsius above normal while the minimum was a degree below normal in Dehradun. The maximum was two degrees above normal and the minimum was two degrees below normal in Pantnagar while the minimum was a degree above normal in Mukteshwar. The maximum was two degrees below normal and the minimum was three degrees below normal in Tehri.
