The weather in Uttarakhand state is likely to worsen again from February 8 and for the next two to three days. Heavy snowfall is expected in the mountains with rain in the plains. Many roads including the Chamba- Dhanaulti motorway opened in Uttarakhand on Sunday due to clear weather however, snowfall and light rain are being predicted in the hill state from Tuesday. It was a sigh of relief for people on Saturday due to the sunshine in other areas including the capital Dehradun.
