A delegation of National Web Media Journalist Union met the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the Secretariat and demanded his intervention to ensure that the categorization of the web portals in the matter of the state government’s advertisements is completed at the earliest. The general secretary of the web media journalists’ union Sanjeev Pant who led the delegation said that those who are running portals and the employees of the digital media have been feeling insecure because of the long time being taken regarding the clearance of the state government’s advertisements to publicize its pro-people policies and programmes for the web portals and digital media. He further said that the CM has assured prompt action of the issues raised by those associated with web portals and digital media.
