With some exciting projects lined up for the year, these Bollywood actresses are all set to enthral the audience with their back-to-back power-packed performances. As we wait for them to take over our screen, here’s looking at the four busiest actresses on the block.
Yami Gautam
Yami Gautam is gradually becoming one of the top choices of filmmakers in the country. With as many as eight releases lined up ahead, the powerhouse performer is all set to rule the year. Currently shooting for Behzad Khambata’s A Thursday, Yami recently wrapped up her shoot for Dasvi alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur. The stunner also has a horror-comedy Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez, along with Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s next among others.
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt has some massive projects in her hands for the year. She recently kickstarted her shooting for her first production film, Darling. Apart from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s highly awaited film Gangubai Kathiawadi, she also has SS Rajamouli’s period drama, Karan Johar’s Takht, and Ayan Mukherjee’s Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor.
Taapsee Pannu
With Haseen Dillruba, Taapsee Pannu has once again proved her acting mettle by portraying a complex character on screen. Rightly hailed for taking up strong female characters, the actress will headline Akarsh Khurana’s Rashmi Rocket along with Anurag Kashyap’s Do Baara and Aakash Bhatiya’s Looop Lapeta.
Deepika Padukone
Last seen in the critically acclaimed film Chhapaak, Deepika Padukone is known for taking up challenging roles from time to time. Hailed as the queen of Bollywood, she will share the screen with Shah Rukh Khan again in Pathan and work alongside Hrithik Roshan in Fighter. Deepika will mark her reunion with Amitabh Bachchan with the Hindi remake of The Intern and also has a cameo in the biopic of Kapil Dev titled 83.
