The Congress party’s mayoral candidate of Dehradun Virendra Pokhriyal has said that if elected he will work for making Dehradun city clean and free from traffic congestions. Interacting with the media persons on Tuesday, Pokhriyal said that the traffic is the biggest problem of Dehradun and the authorities have no vision and plan to manage the traffic in the city.
He said that making the capital city clean and free from polythene is also on his agenda. The Congress mayoral candidate said that the roads in all wards of the city are replete with potholes and the people are continuing to suffer while commuting on the city roads. Pokhriyal said that he will work to correct the wrongs done by the BJP in the last 15 years in the city.
