Witness the serene beauty of Uttarakhand in upcoming period drama ‘Gadera’

Gadera, a period drama film directed by Yogesh Vats and produced by Siddharth Rajkumar is set for an OTT release on February, 2022. It will showcase the picturesque hills of Garhwal and Kumaon regions as well as the ancient events which revolved around the Gurkhas and the British. It will be shown in three languages- English, Garhwali and Kumaoni. International artists from Europe and local artists from Uttarakhand will feature in the film. It is produced under the banner of Jet Films and Wild Auteur Films. Gadera is reportedly Vats’s second project. His directorial debut was Hawayein- a hindi travel fiction which had got postponed due to the pandemic.
The director-writer hails from Rewari, a small town in Haryana. After school, he studied at the State Institute of Film and Television and later moved to Mumbai. Vats next venture will be ‘ The Lost Feather’ which will be based on the migration of birds and human connection to migration.
