In latest news from Doo, a woman sub-inspector was killed and another woman police constable was injured when the scooter they were on had a head-on collision with a bus in the ISBT flyover ahead of the Rispana bridge. They were going to their duty when the mishap happened. The deceased SI and injured police woman were identified as Kanta Thapa and Shakuntala respectively.
Police further informed that the driver of the bus was arrested, adding that the deceased had come from Uttarkashi to Dehradun on Kanwar Yatra duty.
