Meerut-based Shri Venkateshwara University hosted a one-day workshop on Thursday in its campus on the subject of Intellectual Property Rights and the career opportunity of the Indian youth in the arena of international laws.
Inaugurating it along with the chairperson of the Venkateshwara group of institutions Sudhir Giri, a professor of London University who is known for her erudition in jurisprudence Anjali S Deherty exhorted the students to make full use of the abundance of career opportunities thrown up in the areas of intellectual property rights, laws on international relationship, cyber laws, patent laws and trademark laws among others.
Addressing the workshop, Giri said that the Centre’s move to enact and implement International Property Rights has raised the country’s stature globally.
