A workshop on research and their publication was organised at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University on Saturday. The theme of the workshop was ‘Scientific article writing, publication ethics and opportunities’.
Speaking on the occasion, Saeed Ahmed of Jamia Hamdard University threw light on the research work and the subject matter required for funding research work by the government. “There is a need to brainstorm on the topic of research. Apart from this, if the research work is really special, then the government will definitely fund it. However, the design, authenticity and presentation of the research work must conform to the guidelines,’’ he said. Mangey Ram Swami of Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun elaborated on research journals and their publication. Apart from this, he expressed his views on the subject of scientific writing and ethics as well as cleared the doubts of the teachers.
The workshop was organized under the supervision of the chancellor of the university Sanjay Bansal, and the pro-chancellor Aman Bansal.
The vice-chancellor of the university Preeti Kothiyal, pro-vice-chancellor RK Tripathi and all the faculty members were present on the occasion.
