Workshop on stress management held at HSST

A workshop on stress management through Yoga was conducted for the students at the Himalayan School of Science and Technology (HSST) to enhance the physical fitness of students. The workshop was organised on Thursday and featured Yoga experts guiding the students in simple Yoga postures to effectively manage stress. During the workshop, the experts emphasised that Yoga serves as the most effective tool for stress relief among students. Further, they highlighted the universal nature of stress in individuals’ lives and the importance of learning how to mitigate it. They emphasised that regular Yoga practice and making minor lifestyle adjustments can significantly aid in combating stress.

Principal of the Himalayan School of Yoga Sciences Ajay Dubey gave insights based on the teachings of the founder, Swami Ram, with a special focus on Yoga and meditation. As part of the workshop, students were instructed in performing simple poses like Sukhasana, Balasana, Trikonasana and Virasana, in addition to engaging in Pranayama and meditation practices.
