A Shpatik Shri Mani Ratnam Yantra has reached Jyotirmath in Joshimath and will soon be ritually installed on an auspicious occasion. Swami Avimukteshwaranand, the disciple of Shankaracharya Swaroopanand Saraswati of Dwarika and Jyotirpeeth, said that this is the largest Sphatik Shri Mani Ratnam Yantra in the world. It is about four feet tall and weighs about 500 kilogrammes. He further said that it is a very rare Sphatik Shri Mani Yantra. Stating that he himself had neither heard about nor seen another as big as this, he said that it had taken three years to prepare it. Avimukteshwaranand further said that its ritual installation will require mantra chanting by experts. A plan will be drafted for its installation. “Sanatan Dharma is about welfare of the whole world though we have also wished for the welfare of Chamoli district. After an auspicious day is fixed, it will be installed at the Jyotirmath,” he added.
