In latest news from Uttarakhand, the portals of the revered Yamunotri Dham were thrown open for the devotees on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya after a hiatus of six winter months. Amidst Vedic hymn chanting, the portals reopened at 10.29 am in the presence of the priests and devotees.
Among the dignitaries present during the portal opening ceremony were the ADG CBCID/DIR Vigilance V Murugeson, SDM, Barkot Mukesh Ramola and DSP, Barkot Surendra Singh Bhandari.
