Yoga is zero budget health insurance, said chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He said this while speaking at an event held to mark International Day of Yoga at Jageshwar on Wednesday. He also launched development works worth Rs 54.59 crore and made various announcements for the region on the occasion.
He said that the under the leadership of a Yoga practioner like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire world is practicing Yoga, which is a matter of pride or Indians. He also spoke about the various measures taken by the State government and steps planned to ensure all round development of the State and its people. He also unveiled the foundation stones for various development works worth Rs 33.81 crore and inaugurated various schemes worth Rs 20.77 crore on the occasion. He also made various announcements for the region.
He announced that a Tehsil building will be constructed at Lamgada in Jageshwar Assembly constituency, asphaltisation of Vriddh Jageshwar-Koteshwar motor road, Pethshal-Bhetadangi-Bamanswal motor road, Dol-Shaharfatak-Bhabu Basgaon road along with naming government higher secondary girls school at Manya Dungra after freedom fighter Raghuvar Datt Joshi and other development works in the region.After participating in the programme, the chief minister also offered prayers at the Jageshwar temple.
