Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath visited the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rishikesh on Sunday to check on the condition of his ailing mother Savitri Devi and enquire about the state of the persons injured in the road accident which occurred in Rudraprayag on Saturday. The UP CM’s mother has been undergoing treatment at AIIMS Rishikesh for some time and for this she has to visit the hospital periodically for routine checkups. She has been admitted in the hospital for some days now as part of this process.
Adityanath was received by the AIIMS executive director Dr Meenu Singh and faculty members upon his arrival in the afternoon. He sought information about the condition and treatment of his mother. The UP CM also visited the institute’s trauma centre to check on the condition of those injured in the Rudraprayag accident. He talked to the relatives of the injured and asked the institute administration to provide the best possible treatment. The State’s Health minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Haridwar MP Trivendra Singh Rawat and others were also present during Adityanath’s visit.
