In latest news from Uttarakhand, a joint team of Kotwali police station and SOG arrested a youth with smack worth more than Rs 1.5 lakh from Pandey Khola area. The accused was identified as Kamal Joshi (35), resident of Pandey Khola, Almora district.
Sharing details, the Kotwali police said that the smack seized from Joshi weighed around 5.31 gram and its price at the international market is around Rs 1, 59, 300. Police further said that the youth had been booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and appropriate actions were being taken against him.
