The secretary, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Kankhal, Swami Dayamurtyanand informed that the Mission is organising a function on the eve of National Youth Day on January 11 from 10 AM to 12 noon at the Sevashram premises.
A total of 400 students from 17 schools across the district had participated in various competitions held recently at the Mission campus held for more than a month, he further said, adding that
prizes would be given away to the winners of drawing, quiz, speech and debate competitions on January 11 programme. The guests invited for the programme include professor of the department of Biosciences and Bio Engineering, IIT Roorkee, Jitin Singla; proprietor, M/s Safeguard Industries, SIDCUL, Haridwar Raj K Arora and director,
M/s Stitch Solution International Pvt Ltd, SIDCUL, Haridwar Ankit Narang.
This aside, cultural programmes will be presented by the students in this programme.
National Youth Day is celebrated every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
