In latest news from Uttarakhand, a youth was killed when the car he was travelling in rammed into a tree on the state highway in Garappu forest area. The deceased was identified as Sahil Ahamad. The accident happened when he was returning from Haldwani to his home in Bazpur.
As he was lying in the car critically injured, he was transported to a hospital in Bazpur by an ambulance where he was declared brought dead.
