In latest news from Doon, one person was killed and three others, including a sale tax officer, were seriously injured in a late-night road accident at Asharodi in Dehradun. As a few sale tax officers and PRD personnel who were out for checking signalled a utility car to stop a container vehicle rammed into it from behind. In the crash, six vehicles overturned.
Police rushed to the spot on hearing about the accident. Three seriously injured were transported to hospital. Investigation was on, police said.
