155th annual function begins at Sherwood College

The three-day 155th annual function of Sherwood College began here on Monday. Various cultural programmes were staged by the students on the occasion. The former school captain of the 1982 batch, rear admiral (retd) Deepak Bansal was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme began with skating performances by the student. This was followed by a diving show. The students also staged an exhibition based on various issues. Models exhibiting the consistently rising environmental pollution and associated effects elicited appreciation on the occasion. The students also displayed other models depicting aspects of space science, chemistry and biology.
