The state health department of Uttarakhand reported 18 new patients of the Covid-19 in the state on Tuesday. Death of no patient was reported from in the state on the day. The authorities also declared 35 patients cured from the disease on the day. The department has so far detected 92,551 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 88,937 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year while 275 patients have died in the state since January 1 this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 96.10 per cent on Tuesday. The positivity rate of the disease was reported at 0.78 per cent on the day. The health department reported 12 new patients from Dehradun, three from Haridwar and one each from Nainital, Tehri and Udham Singh Nagar on Tuesday.
Dehradun with 56 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Haridwar has 13 and Nainital six active cases of the disease. Pithoragarh and Rudraprayag districts have no active cases of the disease. In the ongoing vaccination drive 24,822 people were vaccinated in 1054 sessions in the state held on Tuesday.
