215 candidates appointed to various departments in Rozgar Mela

The chief postmaster general of the Uttarakhand Postal Circle, Shashi Shalini Kujur handed over the appointment letters to over 215 selected candidates from various departments at a Rozgar Mela held on Friday. Notably, on the same day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the handing over of appointment letters to about 51,000 newly recruited individuals at 40 different locations across the country via a virtual platform. In view of this, the said event was also held in Dehradun.
At the Rozgar Mela here, appointment letters were given to 215 newly appointed individuals, which included 59 personnel in the Uttarakhand Postal department, 14 in the Railways, 81 in the Central Armed Police Forces, 19 in the State Bank of India, 41 in the THDC India Limited and one in IIM Sirmaur.
Kujur congratulated the newly appointed individuals and wished them a bright future. She urged them to perform their duties with diligence and honesty, emphasising the importance of their contributions to the nation’s progress. She noted that the employment fair is a step towards fulfilling the PM’s commitment to prioritising job generation. Kujur expressed hope that the employment fair will continue to act as a catalyst for job creation and provide meaningful opportunities for youth empowerment and participation in national development.
