Motherhood University launched a special scheme for girl students to mark the festival of Navratri. The university vice chancellor Narendra Sharma said that 50 per cent discount is being offered on all programmes except BEd and MEd from October 6 to 14 for girls who register during this period. This scheme is aimed at encouraging higher education among girls. Sharma said the contribution of the girls in various fields is consistently rising and the university is attempting to encourage this further through this special scheme.
