27 U’khand natives brought back from Sudan so far

With Operation Kaveri continuing to rescue Indian citizens from strife-torn Sudan, a total of 27 natives of Uttarakhand have been evacuated. According to officials, those from Uttarakhand who have been brought back include Uttam Singh, Prashant and Yogesh who are being sent to Dehradun after completion of their quarantine in Mumbai. Further, out of the 24 Uttarakhandis brought back to Delhi, 21 have been sent back to Uttarakhand while the remaining seven will be sent back to the State after completion of their quarantine period. The resident commissioner of Uttarakhand, Ajay Mishra is maintaining communication and coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, said officials.
