In latest news from Uttarakhand, the three-day Gend Fair which exemplifies the hoary heritage of the Himalayan State was inaugurated in Haridwar. While inaugurating the fair, the former State cabinet minister Swami Yatishwaranand said that the new generation must be acquainted with the old cultural heritage of the State they are children of. The organisers of the fair said that a number of competitions would be held in three days of the fair in which school students would participate.
