3 Hindu activists arrested in Uttarkashi

In latest news from Uttarakhand, three activists of the Hindu organisations were arrested by police on Saturday two days after the Hindu activists allegedly indulged in stone pelting on police personnel posted amidst tension with the activists demanding removal of a masjid, claiming it to be illegal. They were identified as Jitendra Singh, Suraj Dabriwal and Sonu Negi. Kotwali police said that the trio had addressed a press conference in the town on Saturday in violation of the police order.
