6-day training for Yoga instructors concludes at Patanjali Wellness Centre

The six-day Integrated Yoga, Naturopathy, and AYUSH-Based Training Programme for yoga instructors working at the government-established Ayushman Arogya Mandirs concluded on Monday. The training was organised by the Divya Yoga Mandir Trust in collaboration with Patanjali Herbal Research Division and Patanjali Research Foundation at Patanjali Wellness, Haridwar. The programme aimed to strengthen integrated health services by enhancing the professional competence of yoga instructors, said Patanjali Wellness spokespersons. The training concluded with the blessings of Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, they added.   

Participants were trained in subjects such as yoga, Ayurveda, naturopathy, diet therapy, pranayama, meditation, yoga psychology and therapeutic yoga. Experienced experts, including Ajit Rana, Vivek Chaurasia, Anoop Saini, Vaidya Pavanesh Maurya,  Prashant Katiyar, Arjun Yogi, and Mayur Chauhan conducted the training.

On the final day, participants performed hands-on demonstrations, presented case studies and evaluated participants.  The nodal officer (District Homeopathy Medical Officer), Vikas Thakur hailed the quality and the content of the training, calling it extremely useful for the effective implementation of integrated health services at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. He also expressed interest in such collaborative training programmes in the future.

Speakers stated that this training was an important initiative toward strengthening the National Ayush Mission and the concept of holistic health at the grassroots level, ensuring the expansion of quality and scientific yoga-based services at the community level.
