A launch ceremony for two new vehicles of Mahindra & Mahindra was held at Kumar Autowheels Pvt Ltd, Kichha Bypass Road, Rudrapur. The company unveiled the XUV-7XO in petrol and diesel variants and the XEV-9S, a seven-seater electric SUV. The event was attended by the Commandant, 46th Battalion PSC, Pankaj Bhatt along with CMDs of Kumar Group of Industries, Shiv Kumar Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Saurabh Agarwal and Shubham Agarwal.
Addressing the gathering, the general manager (Sales) highlighted the features of the newly launched models and shared Mahindra’s achievements. He announced that bookings for both vehicles would commence from January 14.
The XUV-7XO is available in six variants—AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T and AX7L—with 2-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engine options, priced between Rs 13 lakh and Rs 26 lakh. Key features include a triple 12-inch digital screen setup, dual-zone climate control, powered driver seat with memory function, wireless charging, connected car technology and Level-2 ADAS. Safety features include six standard airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC and parking assist systems.
The XEV-9S electric SUV offers battery options of 59kWh, 70kWh and 79kWh, with a claimed range of up to 500 km. It comes in four variants—Pack One Above, Pack Two Above, Pack Three and Pack Three Above—priced between Rs 19 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. The vehicle is positioned as a premium family EV with advanced technology, performance and safety features.
The company directors reiterated Mahindra’s commitment to quality, performance and after-sales service, adding that more models across segments would be introduced in the future.
Mahindra officials, showroom staff, insurance and finance partners, city dignitaries and customers were present on the occasion.
