The sixth Shered Memorial Inter-School Girls Football Tournament kicked off at All Saints’ College on Tuesday. Four matches were played on the first day. All Saints’ College (Blue Team) defeated Bharatiya Shaheed Sainik Vidyalaya (Blue Team) 6–0. The second match was played between Mohanlal Shah Girls’ School and St Mary’s Convent College. St Mary’s Convent College won 1–0. In the third match, De Vito School, Bhowali beat Sanwal School 3–0. The final match was played between All Saints’ College (White Team) and Bharatiya Shaheed Sainik Vidyalaya (Red Team). In this match, Bharatiya Shaheed Sainik Vidyalaya (Red Team) won 5–0.
Among those present were the principal of All Saints’ College, Anjana Richards and principal of Bharatiya Shaheed Sainik Vidyalaya, Bishan Singh Mehta.
