The chairperson, State Women Entrepreneurship Council, Renu Adhikari handed certificates to 32 women, who had received training during the three-week Entrepreneurship Development Training, at District Industries Centre, Udham Singh Nagar and urged women to generate self-employment opportunities for themselves on way to becoming self-reliant. The general manager, District Industries Centre, Vipin Kumar informed that the department has achieved 100 per cent success in self-employment schemes in recent years.
The joint director, Directorate of Industries, Deepak Murari suggested opening an outlet of local products in Rudrapur on the lines of Kashipur Design Centre. Positively responding to it, Adhikari said that she would discuss the matter with the mayor of Rudrapur Municipal Corporation.
