The Friar Tuck house of the Sherwood College in Nainital clinched the overall trophy of the 98th inter- house athletics competition while Robin Hood house finished as the runners- up. The school principal Amandeep Sandhu gave away the trophies.
The office bearers of the college informed that the Friar Tuck house secured 538 points while Robin Hood house managed 521 points. Besides, Allen-a-Dale house came third in the competition with 498 points and Little John house finished fourth with 466 points.
The organisers of the event further informed that Sarashti Singh won the best player title in the junior girls’ category while Tanya Rajput did the same in senior category. The principal said in his address that such competitions provide the students with an opportunity to showcase their inherent talents.
