Rajkumar Thukral sent away to Pantnagar

Situation remaining volatile in Rudrapur town of Udham Singh Nagar district following 125 shops being razed down, police sent the former MLA Rajkumar Thukral away to Pantnagar in anticipation of serious law and order problem. Thanks to the posting of large police contingents at sensitive points, the agitated people are finding it difficult to come out on the roads to protest. With section of 144 being in force, no political leader and activist are being allowed to get on the roads. Several leaders along with Rajkumar Thukral like Sanjay Thukral, Sanjay Juneja, Jagdish Taneja were picked up from their homes by police and were sent away to Pantnagar.
Noteworthy, the shops of Lohia Market built on Nainital Highway are being razed down in preparation of the G-20 conference in Ramnagar, Nainital.
