THDC India Limited achieved another milestone with the boxing up of the first unit of 1000 MW Tehri Pump Storage Project (PSP) on Friday.
Executive director of the Tehri complex LP Joshi congratulated the entire team of PSP for putting their sincere and concerted efforts towards the achievement of this milestone. He expressed his gratitude to all the persons connected directly or indirectly with the execution of this project.
Project director (consortium) Ajai Shukla, AGMs AR Gairola, AN Tripathy, Mallikarjuna K, SK Sahoo and other senior officials of THDCIL and GEPIL were also present on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention here that THDCIL had also successfully completed the erection of runner of second unit of 250 MW Tehri PSP on March 28.
These achievements have brought THDCIL one step closer to the commissioning of the nation’s first Variable Speed Pump Storage Project (1000 MW).
