In latest Uttarakhand news, a shot was fired in the air in the Badrinath shrine town following a brawl involving two local youths and a cloth trader in the late night hours. Police rushed to the site promptly. Speaking on the matter, a senior police officer of Bardinath police station Billwa Prasad Bijalwan said that two inebriated youths from Lambagad, identified as Anuj and Kuldeep, entered the cloth shop of one Vineet Saini in Badrinath and started abusing him. A brawl ensued and in a fit of anger, Vineet fired shot in the air from his firearm to scare away the youths. Later, the police registered a case on the basis of complaint filed by Anuj. Besides, the firearm of Vinnet was impounded and police are collecting information about it from the district magistrate’s office in Haridwar.
