As most parts of the State continue to experience warm days and cool nights, the weather may take a turn in some parts of the State today with rain forecast in some mountainous regions. The State meteorological centre has forecast that very light to light rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts on Monday.
Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in the remaining districts. As witnessed on Sunday, the provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a mainly clear to partly cloudy sky on Monday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 30 degrees Celsius and 13 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Sunday were 27.4 degrees Celsius and 14.9 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 29 degrees Celsius and 12.4 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 22.4 degrees Celsius and 8.9 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 18.4 degrees Celsius and 9.9 degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
