In latest news from Uttarakhand, the five-day all-women yoga training workshop organised by Patanjali Mahila Yog Samiti at Padartha concluded.
Addressing the workshop, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev said that the Divine lived in those houses where the women were worshipped. He further said that Patanjalai had been striving hard to bring about gender equality in the society.
Acharya Balkrishna in his address told the participants about the home remedies and medicinal plants which could be effectively used to ward off ailments which afflict households. He also urged all to cling to yoga under all circumstances.
Sadhvi Devpriya presided over the workshop in which over 500 women yoga teachers from several states like Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh aside from Uttarakhand took part.
The Sadhvi said that role of women in the nation’s development is immense and it must be recognised.
